Temp control Div

well looks like another week and no slots available Swift has been calling me several times a week to get me into training as well as Raider, Maverick sounds great but not sure why they would go through the paperwork, tell me I am approved and then have you wait for a month plus for a spot they don't seem to have and all they can tell you is "you are on the top of the list for the next spot" for 3-4 weeks???

 

You still get paid orientation pay right?

 

No I am still sitting at home waiting to go to LR. I stopped looking as I thought Maverick was a done deal but I am a month in and no class date in sight?? So now I feel like I am scrambling to find a job as Maverick doesn't look like they will come through...

 

Ah ####. Also look into prime they see. Pretty good also

 

Maverick is worth the wait, if you're able to do so.

 

O hell ya, once I get my CDL I might have to wait for maverick. But it seems like it will be worth the wait.

 

Captain, for God's sake, go be a trainer and help some of these guys get thru the logjam in recruiting for TCD Division....

 

Hang in there Beantown, it REALLY is worth the wait. There is just a logjam (as I called it earlier) for the TCD Recruits due to a trainer shortage. You may offer some willingness to your recruiter to drive with a Flatbed trainer for your driving training. You would not be required to do any of the flatbed work. They have been resorting to doing this lately I have heard. Just an idea....

 

Lol they haven't asked me yet, and due to a minor mistake recently, I have a feeling they're not going to.
