Hmmmm....I see a lot of "guests" lurking but no replies.....

I'm thinking about going back to tugging a low-side after the CARB regs become fully implemented....

I would like to see how they are going to enforce it with tens of thousands of non-compliant trucks rolling around over there.

I don't see how out-of-state trucks will be lining up to pull dump trailers or run Ten's or Super Tens though.....I remember back in '09 when CALTrans had a huge project on SR 60 between Diamond Bar and La Puente....There were about 20 trucks with out of state plates and about 20-30 with "Front BC" plates....A lot in state dump O/O's got a little perturbed over that situation....

Now tugging freight may be different....Just about anyone can "play"....

I'll keep pulling my furniture out of there until they tell me I can't come in anymore, then I'' make a decision.

Anyway....When I went to tugging (In '08)) freight....The per hour rates went from between $90-95 for End-dumps....$85-90 for "Supers".....$80-85 for "Tens"......To the $50's for the "Tens" and the "Supers" and $60's for the end-dumps....What are the rates like now if anyone knows?
