Just don t' mention your sexual preference and you'll do just fine.Your there to learn and that is it.

 

I cannot speak for anyone but myself. I am a "live and let live" type of person. I also usually keep to myself and don't socialize much. Don't have a pet, though. I say go for it. You won't know until you try.

 

I'f you like being alone friend....THIS IS YOUR CALLING,lol.. Most of the drivers are just good ole boys.
Some are still in the 1950's some are far more intelligent. Basically it is what you make it. Like any other place,you've got your guys that are REALLY REALLY insecure,and bark alot,then you have your guys that are very secure of who they are and just want to make a living and go home to their families and could care less who's sleeping with who.

Make sure before you go to the expense of a cdl,that you find a company that will allow pets!!!!!
Theyre out there,but some do not allow and I'd hate for you to get to that awful decision of a job or leaving your pal.

Unless you dance like Richard Simmons or dress like RuPaul, who cares?
And even then, People of Walmart can outfo anything you can dream up.

youre a female I assume.You don't see too many guys talking to other guys about them being gay.I personally dont have a problem with it.As long as they can drive and keep phocus on trucking thats good enough for me.I dont discriminate but there are ppl in trucking that do.Certain things its best just to keep quiet and do your job.

 

I'm a bit homophobic.
Was not always this way but was turned a bit by some experiences.
Only gays that ever bothered me were the ones who could not keep what should be private private.
I daily work with a couple that know how I feel and we get on fine because we all behave the way we should in a work environment.
My advise is just be professional and being gay wont be an issue.

 

you might be able to be a trucker but your dog isn't going to be welcome sight if you have to roll with a trainer.
