I recall moving Guthrie Rig 9 to the USA in 1981, that sucker had a total of 111 loads in it. Try hauling any "Drilling Rig" on a tandem step deck.

Good to hear Onetrack. I know guys that have years of experience but because they are in the 60 year old range they won't hire them. You'll get paid for everything you do, none of the "It's included in the mileage rate". :)

Well I'm 41, so I'm heading northwards as well.. but you've seen my history, its fairly varied. I actually stepped into the crew bus role this winter and like it, I might be heading into a field technical position here soon as well but I'd love an opportunity to drive one of those 797's, especially for the money they pay.

How's the break up looking? I just officially got my class one license so I'm ready to head up as soon as the hiring picks up again.

Break up is actually not bad for us so far, only been 1 month in and we've still had some jobs to get to. 3 days of fairly solid rain is going to mush things up, a couple of our clients are planning on paying for the road maintenance and we'll be at it soon. If you have a class one now I can put you in place I'm sure.

Right on, that's good to hear. When you get a chance, send me a message with a way for me to get you my resume and cover letter. I'm glad I decided to get my class one instead of the class 3. The training at Columbia was awesome too!

Hey dude, check your email - I put your resume on a team leads desk and they want you to send in an abstract, we're ramping up right now so its a good time to get here, get your tickets and get to work.

    bbeach Thanks this.
