Most gay people only have a problem when they try to get in your face and force their lifestyle on others. I believe in live and let live until someone tries to force their lifestyle or views on me. As far as tolerance is concerned, I think that we have become much too tolerant in this nation. There is right and wrong. Most heterosexuals don't throw their sexuality in the face of gays. It is when gays try to force their views on others that problems usually arise. I have known people who are likely homosexual, but unless it came up in a conversation or they tried to force their views on me, it is a non issue. It usually won't come up unless the person who is homosexual talks about it. Just do your job and keep your lifestyle to yourself.

It's best to just keep your lifestyle to yourself even if the subject comes up about someone else. The subject could end up getting to the schools director and may end up in disciplinery action.

(Why can't I thank this post 100 times lol)................

you could remove your name on this post, and insert mine: it's so spot on. I used to think and act the same way, but like you said: it was when I was young and dumb.

Gay/straight or otherwise, treat me cool, and I'll treat you cool...... Btw, one thing homophobes don't realize: gay dudes have some of the BEST looking female friends!!!!!!!! :occasion5: :headbang:

Petro in NJ I had a Gay follow me into the restroom rub my Behind as I was doing my business and making kissing signs to me. I could not finish and had to leave. That is what I do not like about Gays. No not all are like that but if your Gay leave me ALONE, I am not.

To the OP, as long your not doing stuff like the deal I ran across in NJ you will not have an issue. As for your 4 legged friend you will have someone baby sit him till you are authorize to carry him/her with you.

I get what you're saying, but that's not what I meant. I don't care about seeing a pair of homosexuals hold hands and kiss in public. Effects me about as much as a pair of heterosexuals doing the same thing. I draw the line when you force your viewpoints down mine and everyone else's throats, and when you (generally speaking here, don't know if your gay and honestly don't care) use homosexuality as a discrimination card. Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from speech. Yes, you're entitled to your opinion but do remember that the same constitutional rights apply to me and every other citizen. You will never get everyone to accept your way of life.

Another thing that will set me off is when a homosexual hits on me. Y'all need to get your gaydars fixed, or ask first if your not sure. I have no problem telling you my preferences.

And I am sure a number of women have similar stories about hetero men doing the same thing. What happened to you had nothing to do with the sexual orientation of that man. And as far as I am conerned you were sexually assaulted and had the right to defend yourself....as violenty as possible..haha

Have you ever hit on a female? How do you know if she welcomes it? What if she is gay? I just really understand why this would be bothersome to somebody. You shut it down with "sorry I'm not gay" and move on....take it as a compliment. Do you think he's gonna force himself on you or something?
