Im about to start my career in trucking. Ive been around trucking most of my life and im about to start my own journey. I've done a lot of research between maverick and tmc.My application has been approved with maverick(who I've chosen to go with)and i have a chance to start orientation in june. I've read a lot of reviews on them,so I'm real confident in my decision. I want to know what advice can you give to someone just starting out with the company.. Thanks

    jsbtrucker and jxu417 Thank this.

I meet an awful lot of ex-TMC drivers at Maverick orientations. Since I haven't worked for TMC, I can't say for sure how they are, although I can say 100% for sure that Maverick will treat you well, pay you well, and respect you as a person and as a professional. You made a good choice!

It was meant as a joke, each is their own. TMC and maverick are so close business wise it's 6 of one half s dozen of the other. I could say the same about ex maverick drivers at TMC. For me the best choice is TMC. They have the most freight in my lanes which gets me home the most often with large paychecks.

I think that really is the important part that a lot of drivers forget. You can't search around for a good company, you'll never get a consenting opinion. The trick is to find a company that is good for YOU. Since TMC gets you miles and home when you want, it sounds like you found a winner to me. And I couldn't be happier with Maverick.

    To each their own!
