well starting working for them the pay is .37 mt and .40 loaded when you go to e-logs your pay goes up .1 per mile the trucks are red intl, freightliners they are getting new ones on a regular basis, main haul is drywall...but if it fits they will haul it, the epuipment is in good shape for the most part, i run out of the pittsburgh (aliquippa term) area and they do mostly the east (pa,nj,va,ny upstate some nyc but not out of aliq. all trucks set at 64 /65 mph(dont know about southern terminals). pay is weekly any other questions hit me at dollarbill0415

I ran out of the Aliquippa terminal as well. Most of my negative experience has to do with maintenance. When I went to Shadyside to pick up the truck, I didn't make it over to the fuel pumps before all the idiot lights lit up, the gages swept to max and it started beeping. After three attempts to fix it, the tech said he didn't know what was wrong, to just run with it and he hopes that I get where I need to go. If that wasn't bad enough, I made my first delivery and the left steering tire was shot. Turned out it needed a front end alignment. Interestingly enough, it was supposedly just inspected when I picked it up. The windshield had a big chip in it and when it was changed, the new one leaked like a sieve and the water ran down behind the dash, shorted out the radio and filled up the cup holders. Turned out whoever changed it didn't clean out the mating surfaces before installing the new windshield.

Throughout my entire short stay with GE, I was moved back and forth from the International to a Freightliner while they tried to fix the International. That gets old real fast.

I am currently in truck driving school in Pittsburgh PA and today a recruiter came in and spoke with us. What I got from them is that they are a flatbed company that picks up preloaded trailers and curtain side trailers. The pay starts at. 31cpm opportunity to make up to .41cpm based on performance they also offer tarp pay at 12bucks to put the tarps on and 12bucks to take the tarps off also they have bcbs benefits at 58 bucks per week for the family all and all the sound pretty fair as far as equipment they use international and Freightliner's at least a 2011 or newer. They sound fair. The training is in Kentucky and they pay for that it consists of 1 week elogs tarping and securement training and a 3hr road test then you are given a truck and you shadow your trainer (following) him in his truck to different drop spots picking up and dropping off loads I hope this is somewhat helpful.

I am going to orientation on Feb 3rd. I'll be in KY for a few days doing quallcomm...elogs..secure mentioned etc. Upon return to the Aliquippa PA terminal I'll have two weeks of in cab training with a trainer then shadowing etc. I just graduated driving school in November. I'll start at 33/34 cpm with up to 41 after all incentives. They have been very nice and upfront with me so far.
