Joy of Joy in Seneca, are you parked on the pull out on hwy60?
We go by there alot when hauling drill rigs..

Are you hanging in the Petro at joplin or are you buzzing the local cops at Wyandotte..

Jumbo, you are correct about having a tab on the ends. I have used small c clamps before also to keep the shims from walking in..

Your correct, I'm at the pull-off on 60 about 10 east of Wyandotte. Had the new copter out for a few minutes right after I got here and finished my DOT inspection, in fact the officer is in the upper right of the picture. Now it's storming and supposed to storm here through Saturday so probably won't be doing a lot of buzzing anyone. And no, won't be hanging at the Petro, customer requires I stay with the load so other than quick trips over to Neosho for groceries and such I'll be right here.

I get paid by the day regardless of what I'm doing, running or sitting, all pays the same. Get's kind of boring especially sitting at such a happening place as this but that's what I'm getting paid for so in the end it's all good. Been an exciting night with the thunderstorms rolling through and according to all the weather forecasts it's going to get exciting again this afternoon all the way through Saturday morning with the dry line approaching. No where to hide out here in the open so could be a fun ride (maybe if I click my heels and say there's no place like home I'll wind up back in Kansas).

    SHC Thanks this.

Still tuning the computer on the newest quad-copter so took another 298 pictures and since there's nothing interesting out here in the middle of nowhere the obvious subject was my truck.

How is the weather there. Watching the weather channel and Tulsa area is getting hammered.

Got hammered most of the afternoon, just caught a break here about an hour ago but there's a line of super-cells headed right at me. There's also a tornado on the ground about 40 miles to the south of me right now. Going to be a long night, NWS says the next round will be on me in about an hour.

I did have the copter up for about 30 minutes getting a bunch of pictures but then I was goofing around real close to the ground at high speed and caught a prop tip in the gravel in a turn, broke a motor mount and destroyed 4 carbon fiber props.

Yea, hunker down the best you can.
Sorry to hear about the copter miscue. Do you have extra props and parts to fix the motor mount?
