Yeah mines a 2006, I gotta say, the quality of these trucks far outweighs anything I've driven before. Nothing squeaks or rattles, and after 6 years the can is in near mint condition. Whoever had this truck before me took good care of it.

I'm saving up money to buy my own, I'll have good fever again when they take this and put me in a new aero Pete or kw that they're buying. I'm looking at '96-'03 model 379EXHD's. I want something with an n14 or a 3406e

I've got a 2000 379 and love it, it's still tight in the cab, rides good, looks great, and after 4 years, I could get the same money out of it I paid for it, try that with one of you Plastic Fantastic Freightliners.......

best year petes right there 96 i believe has the smaller cab i wanna say the 99' and up have a little more headroom and u can lean back a little more then the older ones i defiantly recommend a 3406e 6nz single turbo cat ask anyone and they will tell u these are the best motors cat put out i love mine. very reliable and if u get a 550 6nz with the heavy haul codes installed you WILL walk by just about everyone on the hills

At my last job a cascadia with 2300 miles on it had leaking windshields, wind noise from both doors, and the steering wheel would squeak. It's sad

I hear that, my buddy has two 379's. one with a twin turbo c15 and the other I believe is a single turbo c15, I don't recall though. I love cat engines, always have

Honestly, I like the 63" bunk. I have a stand up 63 right now, I prefer the flat top mainly for looks. I can deal with getting dressed sitting down which I do now anyway lol
