I know lots of drivers love the West for some reason but ai always made b etter $$$$ in the east lots of shorter runs but thats loads at up I did 3 lds 1 day so they kept me moving which is all that matters.

Ya ur probally still with a devolopement DM I was with mine until I got 8000miles then I started running more and more

If u can get into a walmart dc you can make a average paycheck and make lots of money with them

Dont get a load call ur dm say I need a load and bug the hell out of him I did almost always got 1 when did within minutes

You can burn ur 70 up every 5 or 6 days take a day off and still make good money for now but thats gonna change 7/1 then we will see how things go but may need to learn a differnt way since gov ##### everything up

another thing i can say is if you are able to keep your empty after delivery or pick one up at that location, try to stay out of terminal till you're dispatched on one.some terminals will take it off you. pheonix and denver are the ones i know of for sure.

Yeah, I am just waiting for July 1. Can only do a 34 every seven days. What is that going to do to the decicated accounts that are closed on the weekend and you run out of your 70 on the friday, in 5.5 days, and you are not going to pick any up for 2.5 days.

Probably play havoc with both scheduling and paychecks on both sides.

But, how to fight against it?

As I see it, the only way is to let nature take it's course.
As in, strictly adhere to the new rules until the slowdown in freight causes the shippers and receivers and consumers to complain loudly enough to reverse it.

If you run out of hrs in 5days you will be eitting 3 1/2 days to gain the hrs back

Lets say u come off a restart monday 9am you cant start another restart til the following monday at9am so you will not be able to work until Tuesday at 19:00 which is really dumb wenare gonna lose a lot of $$$$ they should force these companys to pay better wince they wwanna screw with us

I thought the seven day cycle started when you began your 34, not when you ended it.

    I thought so too.

This ridiculous rule will cost me nearly $180.00 per week. The rule makers want to believe that we are all daytime workers. I have become a night worker by choice, therefore I sleep during the day. I rarely get done before 0100.
