Are they also overpriced? LOL P.S. I'm jus playin'...I am crazy about anything with two wheels.
MNdriver Thanks this. -
I wills say, I like the freightliner century that I drove, it was great riding with front air suspension. I just prefer the Pete because Its a peterbilt. I just love everything about them lol.
But, I am a rookie and the 379exhd is my dream truck. So I'm happy to be driving one, no actually I'm freaking thrilled. Haha
I'll miss it when they put me in an aero Pete or kw for sure.
I will say, if I were to run the northeast a lot, I'd want an Aero hood for the tighter turning on these small streets. But for now, I'll stick with my 265" wheelbase and Pete turning like a yacht haha -
I love the turning radius on my century. It's also showing decent mileage around 6.5-6.8 MPG finally too.
I much prefer a W900 though.
And yes, I have a couple of folks we snip back and forth about Pete's and Freights with all the time.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
I just like the peterbilt sleepers -
I don't like the clutch in the Pete. Don't like how it goes into the floor like that. I like the hanging pedals. Just a personal preference.
Was looking at a W9 earlier this week.
this one is an 07 with 840K miles on a C15/18spd/3.36. I hope you don't mind smoker trucks. Cuz this one is horrid and that's AFTER it was detailed.

I'm considering getting one at least a 2011. Until then, I will stick with my century.DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
I used to not mind the smell of smoke but not anymore, now I wouldn't care to be in a smokers truck. I was lucky whoever had mine never smoked.
I would love to have a new 389, I love the looks of the new styled hood and headlights. -
Detailing does little to rid a truck of smoke residue , interior needs to be really scrubbed , steam cleaned and that includes all the duct work , A/C coils , heater coils needs to be cleaned. And sorry but FREBREEZE does not get rid of it
DrtyDiesel and MNdriver Thank this. -
