    Correct that.

Problem with the seal not matching the paperwork, so they gave me a short 427 mile hop to Conway in Dallas.

It was due to deliver on Tuesday the 28th, but I got lucky and was able to deliver today (Memorial Day, 24 hours early).

Guard said it wasn't a problem, and, there was an empty available.

I rolled into our Irving terminal to shut down and save hours (only 4 miles away).

    Your load's safe, Flood.

    I put it back.

    Hello There. :biggrin_25511:

    Just a quick note.

Made it home in-time for my doc appointment on Friday. I'll be heading up to our terminal in Tunnel Hill to get my DOT renewed on Monday.

    Be it ever so humble........

    Hey Sammycat.

Frankenstein's been a good boy after that last go-round at Freightliner. Having a 6 day break was a pleasure although much of my home-time was dedicated to USX business. Happens every year.

    Hello There. :biggrin_25511:

    Back in the truck.

    Doc appointment: Done.

    DOT Physical: Done

    B-PM: Done

My FM got in touch with me yesterday with a load they want me to haul from Atlanta to Lakeland, FL. A night run. Paid miles: 461. I don't mind driving at night, but I had to flip my sleep schedule on short notice.

It's a live load that picks up at 1900, and delivers at 0900 tomorrow.

I don't get to FL that often. Most times I end up handing off the load to someone who needs get home.

I hope I'm not stuck down there too long.

    I'll update you later.

    Thanks for reading.

Anytime we went deep into Florida they either had a load out or ran us empty up to Jacksonville. Never an issue.
