Just to double check what the dealer is telling me...Will get it in writing etc if the deal goes through.
Looking at getting a 2009 4900EX that has never been put in service.
Dealer said it will carry full factory warranty, that the case?
It has the S60 515 from Detroit, so has the EGR and DPF on it.

In the automobile industry that is the way it works. Warranty starts the day the vehicle is put in service.

Thanks!! I`ll send an email soon.Bought a 1990 a few months ago and would like all the wiring diagrams but most of the numbers on my wiring are too faded to read(or my eyes are too old).Tight truck to be 23 years old.

Yes that is the case with the warranty. Once the dealer registers the truck for you it is added to the warranty system as the "in service date" and that is when the warranty time starts and the mileage that is on the truck at that point as well and your warranty mileage will start from there.

If you give me the last six of the vin I can tell you if it was ever put in service or not.

It got registered for warranty, so good to go.
I need one or two rocker switches though, like the OEM ones. One to run strobe lights, and one or two just to have for other stuff as it comes up. Would rather have all matching switches instead of some hack job.
That and cab curtains would be excellent! Can your parts guys get prices for that stuff?

All of our trucks from 03 and up all have both the cab curtain and the sleeper curtain. Wonder why yours didnt come with it.... Is that track there underneath the upper console?

I see no track or anything. Looks like there is a flat spot that runs around the moulding though, and looks like where they would put a cab curtain and track. If one "falls off" one of your trucks though........:biggrin_25520:
That is why the truck sat for 3+yrs though, it was spec'd out kinda goofy.
Full lockers, non air ride passenger seat and manual driver window.
Extra cab and sleeper insulation, and no room for a step to access the catwalk.
    So on and so forth.
