Who's "they"?
-
Millis. I know some places tell you they only want a certain Wattage to be installed into the company trucks
-
I guess he is referring to the manufacturers..
..I have always been told nothing later than 1500 watts.
-
Ooops, sorry, I neglected to look at category (Millis) which your post was in. My bad.
Not sure what limits Millis has, if any, but hopefully a Millis driver can chime in soon. -
Thanks for trying to help tho

I believe what they dont know wont hurt em. just make sure its done properly so it dont burn the truck down. If you had a 5000W inverter in there and it wasnt installed properly and the truck burns down you could be on the hook. I have a 3000W in mine and I installed it myself, but with careful planning and making sure to add extra insulation where the cables go through the floor or anything metal (piece of rubber hose zip tied around the cable) and 3 years later, no problems whatsoever...

i believe it is 1200 or 1500 but you have to have black river shop install it. you can not install it yourself.
-
Thanks. i think a 1500 would run everything i ever wanted it too
-
the new trucks that we have come with inverters already in them.
KnoxFox23 Thanks this.
