Schneider doesnt count your arrival or departure day as an off day. Park on Friday leave Wednesday morning.
Most of the time if I am scheduled home on Friday I actually get home Thursday night with Friday still not counting.Twicebit Thanks this. -
I like that pic of the FL Century and the shiny bullet you've got there, ethos! Even though its not a pic of your new Cascadia, still, it makes me yearn for gettin this show on the road!

Once of the best conversations I had read in a long time! I love when Drivers can talk about their respective companies pros and cons with maturity and respect. Well done,Gentlemen!
ethos, superpet39, DADof3 and 3 others Thank this. -
That is good. We don't actually have a rule for days off. Its more a policy of dispatching you towards your home terminal with a goal of home weekly. Once you get home they ask when you want to go back out. During slow freight times you get more time at home...sometimes more than you want. They will dispatch a driver from another terminal over one at home to avoid layover pay. Anytime we sit over 14 hours away from home we go on the clock. That is $146 per day guaranteed when you are away from home. It protects your income during the slow seasons.

wsyrob, if a driver just wants to stay out and run, bypassing the goal of "home weekly", is Superior good with that, long term, as long as there's plenty of work?
And is there usually plenty of work?
Thanks -

Here is the real deal. I pull tin cans. I'm good at it. Slow is the key. I ride the tide. Tankers never get scaled. 475 degrees, the chickens don't want to inspect me. It's all about love. (stick your head in there) Ha Ha, Kids do that. I told you.
