With all those $14k loads you haul around a compressor should just be a drop in the bucket.

Hey Haulhand, that's right in my neighborhood, Butler is 15 minutes from my house and our shop...

The Jeep fest in butler is a pretty good time, they usually have a really nice turn out over there...

matter of fact, i ran through there around 6:45pm yesterday...

Check your air filter it may be stopping up and sucking the oil out more so than normal. All air compressors pump a little oil in trucks. Most never drain their tanks enough. Try taking the main airline loose put a rag over outlet and see how much oil it pumps in a given timeframe.

I think i'll wash the and start doing some polishing on the truck.

Fisher guy was nice enough to recommend some different products for polishing for me. It sure makes a big difference when you have quality products not just the run of the mill Walmart stuff.

    fisher guy Thanks this.

My favorite is they kick you off the 4 lane onto the 2 lane business route in OK. At least they did me last year at 12.5 wide. Hard to miss oncoming cars and school busses with trees about 3' from your right shoulder

I've only done 1 load at $14k. Wish I had more of them. Most my stuff is at about $5k, but it is what it is. It's not the cost, but the timing. Just had 2 weeks off, bought a new mower, dropped $7k on repairs... But I got lucky and found a compressor back home (Bendix rebuilt) for $400. So now to get from NY to Chicago is the challenge lol

Whomever it is in the Oklahoma permit office that does the routing has a very warped sense of humor. If there's a skinnier road that is within 100 miles of your "proposed" route, that's the road your taking. OK-10 is one that they love to put 20'+ wide stuff on and there's many places along it where the tree's, signs and poles are at the edge of the white line. There's a spot just to the west of Miami that we simply cannot fit through without taking out a sign and every trip they replace the sign. Same with the fire department sign in Nowata, I've personally taken it out more times than I can remember and every trip there's a brand new one it it's place.
