Another day in the books. Spent some real quality time with the crew of Heavy Lift 6 loading two keel sections for a 747 onto their plane. As is always the norm, was supposed to load both trailers yesterday afternoon, move them overnight to Alliance airport and put them on the plane at 06:00 this morning. I finally pulled out of Grand Prairie with the second load at 5:30 pm this evening. Oh and of course the Antonov only charges about $20,000.00 an hour for sitting and waiting, thank god I'm not the one paying that bill.
Anyway she went wheels up about an hour ago headed to Everett, WA where she'll offload and head back here for two more trips Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm off for the next two days now till we run the next round of moves. And as is usual, everything has been pushed back a day so my home time this week isn't going to happen. Best laid plans change 11 times in the first 5 minutes
