Somehow I think your opinion on the matter could change, here let me see if I can persuade you...

Let's say you and I are neighbors, let's say we both own houses, and the distance between our houses is 8 feet.

You have great big windows on your house, every wall of your house has these great big windows, and no drapes.....there isn't anywhere in your house that you can go where I can't see everything you do.... and I have these great big listening devices, I can hear everything you say, no matter where you are in your house or regardless of what time of day it is, I can clearly see the T.V. screen in any room, I can hear any conversation, in short, there is nothing about you that I don't know, I can go out and look through you garbage, if I want, just to see what you may have thrown out.... old beer cans and how many, prescription med bottles, fast food wrappers, gossip mags, receipts, old magazines, letters to you mom, whatever....

You, on the other hand, can't see into any of my windows, as they are all one way mirrored glass, you can't hear any of my conversations, you have no access to my garbage, you can't listen to my calls, I am a complete mystery to you.... the only thing you know about me is that I am always there, quietly monitoring your every move....

But don't worry, cause you don't have nothin to hide, remember???

You just described what our ''government''....They want all of us ''on the grid'' while they are 100% off the grid...

I was going to further illustrate my position by describing a neighborhood where I knew everything about everyone in the neighborhood, while everyone else knew nothing about me, except that every now and then I'd suddenly arrest a suspect and whisk them away, never to be seen or heard from again....

 

I think he's probably a good dude, and wants a safe place for all of us, he just hasn't really thought it all through, or realized what the people who established this place went thru, or fought and died for....

I think liberty is something valuable, I sure won't just give it away....

I think it should be restricted in a truck, just listen to how people act on the CB and you can see some people can't control themselves.

Another thought is that different states have different laws that dictate why you can use your firearm so if someone say from Texas is in Michigan and catches someone stealing fuel, he shoots the guy which may be legal in Texas, it ain't in Michigan and he will be going away to jail.
