Well that was fun... 1 1/2 hrs to get checked in, back into the door and unloaded in about 30 minutes.

On my way back to NJ. I actually got off the yard in less than 3 days. Took a load up to North Platte, then rather than send me to Grand Island, they DH me over 300 miles to Dakota City. I'll stage up in Columbia tomorrow for a 5 am delivery in Carteret.

Well I got assigned a new DM this week, apparently my former DM is no longer with the company. I am trying to remain optomistic that this new DM as a former driver will be able to take care of the needs of his fleet without the blunders of the learning curve. I am very nervous and concerned. I do recognize we are a training company however when I am leasing can I afford the learning curve? Dunno what to do or think. On his behalf he is attentive to the phone calls and seems to be able to ask questions when unsure of something and get an answer on the spot. Just dont know. Anyone else ever dealt with this kind of surprise?
