That Alloy place in Wabash.....Holy mother of ....... that place is horrible took and hour and half just to get on the scales and check in with the guard, local guys kept cutting it front of us, Big signs everywhere saying do not block employee parking and road, but they were doing it, then it takes them an hour to unload us which wasn't bad then it took another hour and half to go back across scales and check out. Scales are both inbound and outbound, and the humidity was awful even at 7 in the morning. Hoping for a good load out of there !!

Brooks OR -- not sure if being deadheaded 350 miles home or getting another load...
-
A couple of months back, I was sitting in Denver for a day, had highlighted 5 days earlier, and Conway sent me home, 470 miles deadhead, 3 days before the 8 day window. They even paid the miles. I still think there'll be a price to pay, somehow, some way. Still, it was pretty cool for a major truck company. Stuff like that makes a difference to me, when it comes down to who to drive for.
double yellow Thanks this. -
Crappy week finally turning around !!! Yesterday sucked all around, got a load that picked up in Lebannon,OH and delivered in Solon,OH 340 miles, when I first seen it was pretty mad and before we could call FM and find out who we made mad, he calls to tell us that it's a relay and that the driver died under the load, so then I felt like crap for being upset about load, prayers go out to the family for their loss. Today after delivering that load we get a 87 mile load (87 miles including DH) from Lordstown,OH to Austinburg,OH, which there's no way to make the hours work but will deal with, because tomorrow we have a load going from Perrysville,OH to Nogales,AZ so it made up for the last a couple weeks. Hope everyone has a safe and great rest of the week.
