    Ok here it goes well I guess I cant say a whole lot about the company but the recruiter Chris G do not deal with him total liar This just happend yesterday I have been dealing with him for about a month now and we have talked several times he wanted me to come to work for them and I told him I had a vacation planned for june 20th thru the 23rd so we spent the last 3 weeks verifying everything so I could come to work I was currently driving so we put everything together and got the date set for june 24th to start so he asked on the 18th if I had told the other company that I was quitting and I told him no and he said everything was good and verified and he would let me know friday when to be there so he called me on friday while on vacation gave me the address to the motel and fuel my truck be there monday morning so I got there about 2:30am checked in and slept for about 2 hours they gave me a ride to orientation and about four hours in the class he said they cannot verify me working for KBR trucking and that they cant put me in a truck and they will not pay for my fuel there or home and now I have quit my other job and am scrambling for another one the bad part is He personally talked to the owner of KBR and the company I was currently working for do you think there is anything that can be done He tried to put it back on me saying I lied on my app the cops where almost called and they threatened to not give me a ride back to the motel does anybody have a suggestion.

    Sharkey may have had too many people in orientation, and you got the cut.

    sorry something does not smell write about this, and broketrucker2 i beg to differ, i am a recruiter and a driver and i never tell them anything but the truth, they may not listen to what i am telling them because they are talking to many other companies and get confused by who said what but i do not lie to a recruit, what good does it do me if the does not stay working for me and i have paid out thousands of dollars to hire and bring this in. really irks me when someone says all of us lie, yes some do but drivers lie more then you can imagine. i dont know how many times i have had a guy try to hide that he flunked a pee test and when we find out he has a look like oh that.

    Derwood, if your gums are flapping, as a recruiter.....you're not telling the whole truth.
    Never have I met a recruiter that told the whole truth.
    You do an initial pass on the prospective new worker, and only when they actually show up, do you do a full background on them. It costs too much money to do a cull background on a person before they actually set foot in the door.

    see you are wrong so wrong, at least in my company thats not how it is and if you want to put your money where you mouth is i will take your money anytime you like, we do a full work up, criminal and all background before a driver is brought in, not all compaies are that way. and i could stereo type a teamster and say they are all overpaid lazy drivers that dont know what a real day of work is all about, but that is not the real truth it is a stereotype. so till you know the facts and proof about all recruiters dont paint me in with all them, and i will back my driving and recruiting time up anytime.

    Your not all that wrong, categorizing Teamsters as lazy drivers. Most of them are.

    Just like recruiters are like politicians.

    So who do you drive\recruit for? Will you put that out there? Let the OP have a chance to get hired on by you?

    Well yes it did really happen sat four hours in orientation when they told me took a full drug screen and D O T by there doctor and yes saw the results and passed all so yes to lying recruiters typical I dont care what company you recrute for and BTW jack sharkey called me back and I explained to him the situation to him his comment was If I was you I would call the company asap you quit for and I have never failed a pis test or physical
