I was wondering what was with all those questions on the Maverick job application. The multiple choice with possibility of 5 answers. One question was... Would it bother you if someone told you how to do your job. Lol

What were the 5 possible answers to that question? If I was very experienced the answer would be yes, I'm offended. If you want to show me another way to do something, no I'm not offended. If I'm learning, I'm all ears, tell me how it's done.

    Here are the possible answers
    1.I strongly disagree
    2.I disagree
3.I do not agree nor disagree
    4.I agree
    5.I strongly agree.
So basically all 5 could be correct. Depending on the situation

At some point you may need to ask whether it is actually an IQ test. :biggrin_2558:

Those tests are just formalities. You wanna know what the real test is?

When they tell you "don't walk on the grass." They're serious, and they're seeing if you'll follow a simple instruction, regardless of how stupid it sounds. I have seen guys sent home for not obeying that simple rule, and I can see their point.

Especially considering that about 60% of what they ask you to do really does seem stupid LOL... But they have their reasons.

They want to know how much hand holding your going to put up with.
In other words are you smarter than the equipment they may eventually assign you.

With Maverick, it's ALL about attitude. I've seen guys sent home on the first day for trying to be a know-it-all, and I've seen them train someone for an extra 60 days because he had a good attitude and was learning, however slowly.

    Attitude is EVERYTHING.

You're right attitude is everything, I'm actually a rather laid back guy. The only thing I really don't tolerate well is being lied to and sugar coating things. Just be upfront with me and there won't be a problem. With me honesty goes a long way. That and I tend to treat others how I wish to be treated. For the most part I'm actually a rather nice guy until you cross me, then I'm not so nice.
