That's gonna depend on what they pay you per mile.

You're about to start.....if you run hard, you should be able to develop a range of income expectation based upon your at-hire cpm rate.

I think the recruiter said .30 cpm I tried to call him today but couldn't get a hold of him...I would like to bring in 800 a week or more but don't know how realistic that is .

OK...let's see.....if it is .30 per mile, and you run 3000 per week, that's a gross (pre-tax) of $900. Depending upon your deductions, I doubt you'll take home $800. It depends what you mean by "bring in". My experience at SNI was that I could not maintain that kind of average mileage per week. At .30 per mile and 2500 miles per week, you'll earn $750 weekly, which I personally think is attainable.

Don't...... you will have better experience,If you drop a bowling ball on your foot. Put you time in as a company driver. And move to a better job if SNI isn't running you good enough

    48Packard Thanks this.

I've been doing this 14 years, and am just now putting together the plans to get my own truck, and even then it won't be until at least next February. Still have some homework to do and, more importantly, some money to put together. And add to that that I'm not even doing it for the money. My goal is to maintain the taxable income I've earned on a yearly basis for the last three years, and have better and more manageable hometime of my choosing as I have family spread out from NC to CA.

i couldn't tell you... well i can but it might be worthless to you since everyone is different. i like pulling reefers, it's been very good to me. A flatbedder will prefer those.... it depends on what you like. i once met a driver who had been with Werner 10 years and said it was best job ever.... i checked, he was not bleeding from the head or drunk.... SNI has many divisions, it could be a good place to be for you. Tanker, Glass, reefers,skateboards..... even oilfields.... They are the "great Pumpkin":mlaugh::mlaugh::mlaugh:
