That never happens according to certain people on here. Dispatchers ALWAYS do things legally.

Yeah, "legally" for them. They oftentimes don't know, don't care, or both about what's legal for us.

What loot, overages or whatever do you get? Is that really legal? It seems to me that could be an under the table kind of thing that someone might have been investigating which could have led to the need for dismissal since he accepted 3%? What is 3% to your dispatcher? 30% might have kept him happy, but doing that sounds dangerous to me, kind of like illegal. Not that I know what I am talking about but in my management experience nothing like that has ever existed. If you have damages and you caused them why would I give them to you like a reward? Too many and your gone. Oh well, not my deal but I was just curious. Just wanting to learn all I can before I get where you guys already are.

Been nine years now and I have never been told to go a 1000 or else. Where do people (Seems like folks with a few years or less) come up with this BS? If and I mean if it happened quit. Truckin' jobs are a dime a dozen.

Been with Roehl a week now and on my first hometime (7/4-7/3) and have no real complaints so far, other than some poor communications between orientation and DSR! I have a pretty good DSR or so it would seem!!

It was hypothetical, but it seems your world is perfect so there is no hypothetical. Chill, man.

Last night at 1730 I get a preplan to be in Alabama at 2300 to p/up a load a little over 200 miles. The only problem I had was I had 2 hours left in my 14. I called dispatch and let them know and they took the preplan off me without hesitation. Homeboy, I am not trying to start a war with you, yet it seems if anyone is happy with Roehl and says that Roehl has never done them wrong you want to argue with them. Just because you and others had a problem with Roehl doesn't mean everyone does. Roehl has only 1900 drivers and I see the same few always complaining about them. That would indicate they have over 1800 that seem to be ok with Roehl.

Oh, yeah, and their turn over rate is near nothing. Keep on my man, you lose credibility with each statement. I am glad you are happy. I really am. Just keep posting after your first year is up and tell me you still feel the same, then I will congratulate you.

the truth lies somewhere between ek and homeboy. Roehl's turnover is high otherwise I wouldn't be so busy. I keep repeating that everyone who leaves the company is not a bad person or even always to blame. I've had many students leave roehl and get on with other firms and be sucessful. If roehl was as great as they claim this would not be the case. That too atll fellow made the same error of piling on a former driver for quitting now he is in the same boat. Give it time and you will get kicked in the teeth a few times as well. That being said for the most part I have enjoyed my time there. Before it is brought up by anyone I was happy before I started training and still enjoy the interaction with new people that it provides. I have followed Homeboy's post and his experiences did not seem atypical at all. I must say though I am amazed that he still hasn't moved on since he found his dream job(My words). I think if I was in his shoes I would have put up my post running roehl down then not given them another thought. Just me I guess, not attacking you homer honestly hope you and yours are all happy with what life brings ya.
