I hate the fact that they charge to park period, including the reserve-it spots or preferred parking at the few spots they still have where its all paid to park. 99.9% of companies aren't going to reimburse a driver for the reserve-it spot, yes its a tax deduction, but at some point your tax bill is going to be 0. Its another way to get into the drivers pocket. Then again they can do what they want because they own the lot.

I will say I despise the ads they play on the radio for the reserve-it. They admit parking is scarce and limited and then say they fixed the problem.

for thousands of years merchants have made money
by capitalizing on the needs of travelers
    roadside inns were born thusly
or maybe the good citizens of the hamlet should just feed us
as we drag our wagons thru

I want to see MORE PARKING. They aren't creating MORE spots. They are charging for what was already there. And they are getting rid of spaces to build natural gas stations and tire shops. For example, did we need a tire shop at the Flying J in Dallas???? Noooooo. We need parking spaces there. Sure they have a right to do all these things because money is the be all end all and it's their property. I don't have to like it. They are ********. I hate those self-congratulatory commercials TA/Petro runs. I gotta go calm down.

som e of you are apparently broke company drivers who cant afford parking. I feel for ya, but I happen to make enough to pay rather than circle the lot for hours looking for a park. I type this as I sit in a reserve it space in milldale,ct . I was also here last night, reserved it both nights, 8 bucks a night. I delivered in Hartford this morning, went and reloaded in Worcester,ma came back here to spend the night.

I love reserve-it parking, its one of the perks of making money. I can spend it like I wish, I also went in and have had the T-bone steak both last night and tonite and left the waitress 5 dollar tips. its like anything else in life, some can afford things and some cant, instead of griping, find a way to be one of those who can afford things.

I haven't seen a t/a or petro that has eliminated handicap parking. for instance here in ct there are 4 handicap spaces adjoin the reserve-it spaces, perhaps the reason you dont see them is the yahoos who aren't handicapped are parked in them

I cannot stand when people complain about a business exercising their right to charge for something.

If you don't like it don't go there. If they are making the big bucks doing it and you can do it better by charging less open a business across the road and show them how to do it.

Exactly my views too. They raised the prices of showers, but oh well, I'm still going to get a shower, I'm still going to pay for it if I don't have one on my card, they know that. I know that, everyone SHOULD know that lol
