No I haven't heard that but I am sitting next to a new bulk truck with no on guard in it. Never know, hopefully that ignorant and selfish policy cost them enough drivers that they change it.

well. Got 4 days off because I'm getting my 4 wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow. Dropped my load in Commerce, Cali around 0600 this morning and had a fresh 11-14. I even called in to see if they got some small runs they can give me and they said they would get back to me. After waiting for 2 hours and moving to S. El Monte Intermodal, and waiting another 2 hours, and called and waiting on the phone for 30+ minutes and have someone intentionally hang up on me. I was like, OKAY! I set my NAT for monday at 0100 for my dedicatedl amazon load, drove to Fontana, took my truck out of service for a PM and drove home and was in my own bed at 1pm. Sucks cause my check is gonna short a couple days since I'm not working :( Oh well, gotta get my teef pulled. My dbl has been gone for several days but knew I needed the time off ths week so its been like hell trying to get loads with a covering dbl. Usually I have loads lined up in a day in advance and it sucks being in the dark. The joys of trucking! I'm happy though :)

Got a new cam also. The rest were just falling apart from rugged use on my motorcycle so I decided to upgrade to a gopro.

    Bonus score this quarter 103!!!!!!!!

Need to get some info from DBL to see what the total mileage etc was to calculate what the bonus should be.

Congrats. I gave up on it quarters ago lol! I tried to be a good company man, but I just wasn't getting rewarded. It's like since I've been pedal to the metal I've been getting 1000+ mile loads back to back.

dedicated has its advantages. runs are set timing wise. Makes it easy to get it.

Ok, so I gotta gripe, and I kinda been holding it back but here goes.
We all went through pretty much the same training, so what I'm gonna ##### about should be obvious.
I realize occasionally a light burns out and a tire goes flat and other weird things can happen while a trailer sits, but tire tread just doesn't wear itself out. If your to #### lazy or inept to get to fix OOS issues or you did such a piss poor trip plan that you can't get it through an OC to get it repaired, at least send in the MAC to SEM and when you do your post trip, don't just hit no defects. Good god, its not like The Pumpkin is gonna do a payroll deduction on ya. At least 10-15% of the trailers I've picked up either have bald tires, destroyed glad hand seals, doors that don't shut right, etc. etc. All I'm saying is do the right thing, whether anyone is watching or not. Picked up an empty in Plainfield In. at a BD & CO, inner front tandems were maypops with a brake light out, had to drag this thing to the Indy OC. So thanks if your initials are D L, at least I get to enjoy a grilled Ham and Cheese while I sit here.

Learn to pretrip the trailer BEFORE adding it to your truck. If that's the only MT, tough cookie. I agree more drivers should be more courteous of other drivers all the way from sweeping out the trailers to reporting and fixing OOS defects. That's just trucking for you. Some people that work at Schneider really don't want to work here. I can't recall how many drivers I've talked to that all said they are only in trucking because the economy went to crap.

I do Boss, at least the Kick the tires and light the fires(check flats and see if lights work), I've even sent the mac in on trailers that I'm not picking up that have obvious defects, sometimes it just gets to ya,know what I mean
