how many times can you be given a random inspection in a week

Roadside level 3 in Kansas. Few hours later, level one in Nebraska at Hebron. Later that night got pulled again in Iowa for roadside, asks for my logbook. Told him my day and he laughed and said have a nice night. 2 in one day and an attempted third. Was unreal. Usually one a year.

 

I got pulled around back at a scale in Ohio for over weight but they didnt inspect me.

 

Better go on a diet

 

1998 We can inspect as much as we want, as often as we want. Fish Bowl Trucking. Don't know why anybody would want to be a trucker.

 

I got inspected 2 times in one day in NY state. Once up in Johnstown, and the other was on the west side of Buffalo

 

Believe me I did. LOL. But after that every time I saw a scale or a DOT enforcement truck, My anxiety level climbed. I always checked my truck and trailer over like a hawk. But the thought of being brought onto that garage scared the heck out of me. My truck had Elogs so I felt better about that.

 

I got a level 2 in Jef City,Mo...And gave me a verbal warning bc my decals are on my tanks...
Yesterday they had a "sting" safety check outside of Orange,Tx pulling everyone into a rest area..ugh

 

But to answer your question, As many times as they want.

 

few yrs ago...had on a load of explosives...got inspected 2 times just in NM alone...loaded in CA going to AL...

 

Inspected on I-10 east bound side in Ms
full blown underneth with the creeper
Officer was training a new guy. 45 min on that inspection. And they were out of stickers lol
lit a smoke crossed in to Alabama didn't even finish my smoke and was pulled over by Al DOT for another inspection. She walked up to the passenger window. I never said a word just handed her the paper work for the inspection I just went through. She had a real upset look on her face as if I had just messed up her daily quota. She handed me my paperwork back and walked away and drove off she never said a word either. Real Witch of a lady. Lol.
