Schneider choice program orientation and getting truck Schneider finance

you are setting my mind at ease !!!

I went with a 2012 Volvo 780 with 278K miles and a Tripak.....I tried to pick a truck somewhere between dependability and payment....

I believe this will work for me as i am single, live in an apartment and no debt !!!

 

now mattbr mileage pays you 1.49 per mile so for this run you will be paid $1679 where as im choice and im getting paid $2563 that's almost a $900 difference and that's if you get the performance thing if you don't then that's even less revenue.

 

So the cash money in your pocket after it was all said and done was $2200? That's good money right there.

 

Yeah I see that. Choice does sound pretty good to me. Ill have to email the guy back and see if he has any trucks that fit my wants. If he does we may be able to do a deal.

 

My opinion is ......
1-don't start out with a brand new truck
2-find a decent truck with a decent payment
3-in time, move up to bigger and better..

 

keep in mind im in my 2 weeks of no truck payment so if you wanted to get a estimate of how it will look after my truck payment comes out just subtract $1100 from that $2200 and the $1700. so that 1100 and 600 but the second week is low cause im under this load now that pays 2563 but cant deliver till Tuesday which is after the payroll cut off time but for next week I have this load paying 2563 and I have a preplan playing 1150 so by Thursday night I would have made a total of 3713 and I still have till Monday to make more runs. my total miles for both runs are 2100 miles as u can see way below that 2700 miles that was quoted in the business plan.

 

thanks for that info....so I guess the quotes that we received are pretty accurate....being a single guy with no debt, I'll be very happy with $1K a week,
all the while paying off a truck....my lease is 3 years then it is mine.......hopefully I'll run it a little longer till it needs an inframe....

 

what are you running ? 2014 Cascadia......the quote I received was $796 truck with $100 maint = $896 plus $204 for ins = $1100

 

I plan on doing this for a yr and just buying a truck cash from a dealer or another driver, this 1st year is for me to get my feet wet and see if being a owner op is something I really wanna do and so far im doing good im not picky about where or when I go and like yourself im single with no expense other then cell phone and food so even with a bad week ill be okay. but for every up there's a down as you can see from knight rider experience.

 

what do you use for internet service? and also do you have a portable printer.....do you even need one in a truck?
