Wanted to know the best way to watch Direct TV on the road? I have Direct TV at home and love it. Open to all ideas to watch DVR and local etc.
Can you get Direct TV portable?

get vu cube and direct tv will just charge you for an additional reciever
DoneYourWay Thanks this. -
The second choice is just a normal Direct TV antenna and attach it to an extension pole and attach the pole to the inside of the wind dam/skirt on the back of the sleeper with some quick claps. When you stop some place and want to watch TV just extend the pole and point it South.
I did it for years when I drove OTR and its pretty easy.DoneYourWay and Dewey120 Thank this. -
If you are looking to have TV while moving, Winegard makes some in-motion antennas. Not cheap, but awesome for a DVR (or when running teams).

They have a "camper kit"
-
ask about a tailgater its a mobile sat box developed for sport nuts for on the go game watching
-
Is a camper kit offered by Direct TV or another company? Same question about the tailgater? I looked up the VU CUBE but that seems a pretty big and you have to set it up daily. I was hoping to find a way to watch tv over the internet through my own direct tv account or another wifi based system.

you can watch it on your phone or computer if you want to pay for phone service time

Streaming video will absolutely eat your data allocation. Netflix can chew through my monthly allocation in one weekend.

MsJamie, what do you do then? Do you only watch Netflix and not any other TV? Thanks
