    #### that's really good rate. what yall complaining for. I think I will deadhead to NYC from Houston to cover it lol. I wouldn't touch that load at that rate not when I can move a load for 500 for 15 miles with no tolls or anything and nowhere near the traffic or hassle

I load in NYC so i wouldnt bother--BUT--@2.67 a mile aint bad--and if u no what ur doin the only toll going from Bkln to hazelton is 16 to get into PA--so even at $4 gallon(figurin @5mpg--which is very low) that 120 in fuel--total=136--gets you somewhere most people deadhead--to load decent freight--only thing i say is gotta load and inload in 4-5hour window--really not that bad a deal--considerin makin $264 min after expenses for time typically spent deadheadin and waitin--not like it is some 80cent a mile nonsence--I know short haul should pay MUCH more and ours does BUT
    Just sayin

1---> why would anyone go into NY :(
2---> load in or near hazelton SHOULD pay enough to cover the cheap load from NY

    .
2.67/mile is fantastic..just not for this load. Traffic/clutch useage/potholes everywhere etc i would never take this load, but thats me. If you feel like you can make a decent profit by all means go ahead i suppose.

to me....that a good way out.....

Traffic....who cares, you'll have that anywhere you go
Clutch.....use it to start out....thats all
    potholes.....are you kidding?

what are you gonna do ....sit sit sit in NY waiting for the big one that may take a day or two if at all....

Yea I don't do NYC loads anymore. Last time I was up there I was running a load of helicopter blades from Dallas to JFK. Tolls ate my arse up! Good thing I had extra cash to live on till my next payday before I could be reimbursed.
