Yeah I don't know how I'm gonna do trying to sleep in a moving truck. I committed to make the best of it though.

Reefers are just fine for me. I don't care what I haul as long as it's consistent and the pay is good which eventually I think it will be.p34ch3s Thanks this.

I know many drivers who have 10 yrs of exp. Or more and are getting between .32 and .40 still. . Pay rate hasn't gone up even though everything else has.

I haven't received a pay raise from my current job since I started in May of 2009, but my rent has gone up every year!!!!p34ch3s Thanks this.

When I first started driving I was happy to make $500 a week. .but if u do the math.. $500 divided by 70 hours a week.. because u will be running hard at first.. only equals as apprx $7.25 an hour. Its like hving 2 full time minimum wage jobs

I am originally from Syracuse, NY and I occasionally look to see what's available up there for trucking jobs and a lot more in that area then down here. But I'm not moving so...... Besides I would have gone to the National Tractor Trailer School (NTTS) in Liverpool, NY if I was still living up there and I think I saw it close to $8,000 or more for tuition!!!! Better school I'm sure then the one I went to but $8,000 is a lot of cash!!!!!!
