Next you'll be saying log trees are growing along I 40 b/n Albq and L A and I planted a lot of them when I haule bulls and boxed meat for Karler Packing out of Albq.

At first, I didn't understand it. I thought I was doing good until I got audited for going over the 14 hour mark. Every day for the first month I drove. I wasn't taught wrong...I just misunderstood. I had thought that anytime you go to Line 1, you pause your 14 hours until you go back to Lines 3 or 4. When I got audited for working 17/18 hour days, I had to take a log class and immediately we figured out what was wrong. Nopw I don't see how anyone can NOT understand it, lolol.

Great lesson is learned and that's all that is expected!
I am glad someone taught you the correct way and didn't let you continue, was it me or my auditor??
No seriously I am glad you know the facts now! -
Can you still use the 10 hour rule? drive 10 off 8.
-
It is now drive 11. 10 in sleeper. If you split has to be a 8-2 split only. After 34 consectative hours off you get your 70 back. Can't drive after being on duty for 14 hours. Magic numbers are 11,14, and 70
-
ok another question, do you still have to show a 1/2 break every 4 hrs of driving?
-
No there is no such rule and has never been such a rule. Some states say you have to but No FEDERAL has ever been made. You can legally drive 11 straight hours, however it's good to take a break in there

wich rule applies to day cab regional, 11 or 14 i figure ill be doing 400-500 miles a day with stiing at each stop , loading - unloading...

If you are a "loca driver" 100 air mile radius (unless a NON-CDL holder, which is 150 air mile radius) you are technically only allowed 12 hours of working time (time card of some sort), however if you fill out a log sheet you can work up to 14 hours a day, so if you work more than 12 hours a day and are within the 100 air mile radius the best thing is to fill out a log sheet.
Not sure what you qualify for so let me know and maybe I can help you more
