WalMart Arcadia Florida...... My appointment was for 1730, I arrived 1545. They allowed me to come in and back into a door. The red light came on within 5 minutes. At 1615 the green light came back on. I waited for them to call me. At 1645 i went up to the office to see if my bills were ready, if not I would sit there and wait. The one lady did not seem to have a problem with it. Now here comes the other one from her junk food break, waddling through the desks and chairs, and look out the window and bellows, "What door are you in?"
I told her, she said my appointment was not scheduled till 1730, and my bills would be held until at least an hour after that time. And the electronic clock keeps on tickin. This doesn't have anything to do with Sunco, just had to vent![]()

Here is is from their website....
.73 cpm plus 100% FSC (average $1.37 per mile)
Tropicana reimburses all reefer fuel and tolls with receipts
7-10 day dispatch (you tell us how long you want to be home)
Fuel Discount Program
Insurances Available
Bobtail = $9.00 week
Occ/Acc = $36.00 week
Physical Damage = 4.1% value of tractor
Tag = $35.00
Escrow Account = $75 week x 20 weeks = $1500
QualComm = $10.00 week
Health Insurance Available
But the fuel surcharge plus $.73 does not equal $1.37
more like $1.10
how do they get $1.37 ????Frank Acavano Thanks this. -
What do you mean "the electronic clock keeps ticking"
1- the time on your 14 hr clock is running down
2- you are getting paid for all the time waiting
3- or both ??? -
That lady sounds like the usual junk food crash and her crashing into tables and chairs is a sure sign of the after effects of inhaling junk food......runningman0661 Thanks this.

This is my production since june 5, -the day I finished orientation.
The spreadsheet is tough to copy and paste (looks ugly) so you'll have to follow the column headers and figure it out by sequence.

Good question...that's what Candice in recruiting quoted me for the Tropicana run - all miles.
-
This was very helpful, thanks, especially the link - which showed everything in the proper format...

Just got back from seeing the lovey and charming Candice at Sunco...after getting my DOT physical, I went over there to deliver the paperwork. She just happened to have 2 trucks to show me, and I picked the one with fewer miles and an APU (both were Freightliners). These trucks are not supposed to have APUs, but this one did, so I gave it the once over in the pouring rain as best I could - and asked Candice to put my name on it. Going to orientation on 7/15 - so I'm psyched! She also told me she may be able to get me on the SE division right away - for which I will be very grateful.
She was great, and very easy to work with. She also gave the paper that LMB referred to the other day, with the service areas and pay schedules. She told me she had no objection to me posting it here, so here it is. It loaded sideways, so if you really want to check it out, best to print it...
BTW, she also explained about the Tropicana account and why it pays $1.37 more or less. The Trop account reimburses for reefer fuel and tolls. The other divisions, apart the from NE, do not pay tolls. None of the other divisions pay reefer fuel. Hence the difference...This is how it was explained to me.Attached Files:

I thought you had to run the NE regional or Trop dedicated for 6 months to start out...
