    Just got prequalified for Landstar. Any idea what is next. this as been a long, long, long process so far. about 4mths of waiting.

    LS is thorough with the paper work, ever T crossed and I dotted! Off the average it takes 8-12 weeks, they actually go through your background and make sure they are getting the right driver for the job. All though sometimes I wonder lately????

    It took exactly 7 days from start to finish for me to sign on. My wife and I go to the orientation in Reno next week, Wednesday Thursday.

    Do not I repeat do not think your good to go until the very last minute of the last day of orientation. The other BCO's know what I mean and we all have stories of the poor slob that got sent home or pushed back into a holding pattern because something "showed up" at the last minute. Chances are your ok but I would hate to see you not be a least prepared for a last minute "issue". Tell Lisa that Doug T the teamster that came thru in Dec says hey.
