Anyone attended the CO training school? Called out there & was impressed w/their attitude & approach. More range & road work.
Website states Stevens reimburses training school costs if you are employed for a full yr on the road. Recruiter didn't know anything about that. Emailed him & waiting on response. Anyone share how & when that kicks in? Admit that $350 for training is lean compared to Prime. Looking at life after more. Prime & Stevens offer very different incentives. More cpm Prime, Maybe more miles Stevens. Yes.....I'm a go getter!

You'll have to update your truck photo.

What is exactly is top out pay because 30 cent's a mile isn't anything to write home about.

With my time in Stevens, both alliance and company, Stevens made the payments for the school loan and reimbursed me at the end for the cash I had paid as part of my settlements. You should be good.

Best advice. Stevens has good accounting services available, but also have your own CPA at home who will receive this information and help you plan your taxes accordingly. It's their job to be experts on taxes and a truck driver doing his/her own taxes is about as smart as a CPA driving a truck.

Now this computer guy can drive a truck but has not in 2.5 years but I don't know any CPA's.

You can check online with a google search or see what ooida has to offer. Do ask around though. the guys that really know how to have a successful business because they've been there are the heavy haulers. If you see someone over 60 driving or a long truck with something huge on it. That's the guy to ask about good accounting firms for taxes. I guarantee he/she doesn't do their own.
