Well, I got 4 choices last night after an 18 hour delay. 3 of which were turns & 1 was Grand Rapids laydown. Normally, I would have snatched up the St. Louis turn, BUT, they are still regulating freight @ 324, so, I chose the wimpy laydown so I can stay away from my domicile for awhile.

Well, I am officially the victim of identity theft. Here's the story: I was leaving our terminal in Atlanta, GA Sat. morning & stopped to get me a large 'cup-a-joe' & breakfast sammie, apparently, at about the same time some A-Hole piece of garbage bought $350.00 worth of groceries @ the 'Safeway Store' in Chicago, IL. The bank caught this and shut everything down. Problem is, they didn't call me to tell me. I found out when I got back Saturday evening & decided to go to the Texas Roadhouse for a steak dinner. Card was declined. That's when I found out what was going on. Had to wait till bank opened this am to sign documents and get me some cash to last me till I get my new cards. There is a happy end to the story though; the bank is going to reimburse me the full amount. COOL! Bank manager told me this sort of thing happens ALL the time.

Wow Squonk and I thought I had a bad day, but it ended good like yours LOL
Got called to do Brooklyn 187 at 530am, sat for a hour waiting for the tractor, took me almost 3 hours to get there with rush hour, then over to the rail, another 2 hours, spent 1 hour at the rail, took my mandatory break, and guess what... MORE traffic going home. worked 9.5 hours and only 210 miles, the boss man told me I was done but 8 HOUR GUARANTEE WHOOOOOHOOOOO... ALL TRAFIC. but was done at 3.
Called the gf and she told me to take a ride with her real quick... she decided she wanted a second piercing inher belly button because she of course wants to be different than others... she told me she normally drags her sis when she wants a piercing, but today she dragged me instead... youd think after already having 12 other piercings shed be over it by now LOL... does look good though, better than I thought...
But she ended up makingsome nice rib steaks when we went back to my place so that was worth it LOL. time for bed before work.
Im going on my 3rd trip and its only going to be tuesday!!! Normally Id just be starting my 2nd. Might be a NICE LONG weekend, perfect for taking the bike on its maiden ride! -
Just heard that new tractors were spotted at Harrisburg. They are internationals and heard they are the cheapest models you can buy! No fuel gauges and the passenger door has no window crank as well. Pretty much just the cheapest thing out there.., really penny pinching eh?
