Ok I did not read all the responses mostly the one person opinion of USA Truck.

For the OP to have all these issues he must have whined 24/7 about everything and never followed the system USA Truck had. I never was forced to drive in a broken down truck. I even help others get their truck repaired not by whining but plain out talking to dispatch respectfully. I even was running late due an error I made and made a wrong turn and I message I will be late on pickup and was told No problem it happens, just get there soon as you can.

Only had 2 issues with them. 1. issue with a shop I had was at the west memphis yard. The Shop boss there was clueless. And Safety their safety department was harder to please then the DOT.

USA Truck was one of the better companies I worked for.

they didn't rehire you because it went on record when you threatened to wreck the truck. You should go and get on with another OTR company put some time in leave on good terms and put USA truck behind you then go somewhere you can call a home.

This would also be insulting to the active duty and reserve servicemen and servicewomen who must leave families behind when duty and assignments are called upon. The insult would also be extended to many occupations that force the main breadwinner away from home for extended periods of time, totally out of his or her control.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

I very much agree with you mje and thank you for your post.
I had read the first post before I knew it had been written a while back. My question is this, he was upset over not getting home time during training after 14 days. My roommate (who love their home time) left the day after Thanksgiving and did not return home or even back into their home state until the middle of Feb. How is this possible?
    Any thoughts?

Buddy, let me give you advice. Put yourself in their shoes. They probably thought you were insane. Are you?

And they probably planned on not hiring you back they just wanted to.see if you'd fail a drug test so that you could never drive again and frankly I dont blame them.

Now, if you know you need help with your anger, and dont seek help, you deserve whatever comes your way. If you get someone hurt, that blood will be on your hands. Really

I agree. What you say goes on record so don't say anything incriminating.

Past tense as in use to. I left due to the log dept being stricter than the DOT, I am no longer able to drive and give an employer a fair shake for their money. So out of fairness to all I am no longer working.

But as I stated USA Truck is a fair company to work for other wise, low paying to company driver true but fair. Do your job with out whinning 24/7 and do your best to be ontime and communicate with Dispatch you get done well. Whine and never communicate and late all the time yes like any company you get less miles and have a bad time.

As for the OP's Title Never Go Home? That what caught my attention to the thread. I went home many times while Driving for USA Truck. 2 times on 1 hr notice. Not an issue. THey even relayed a load for one of them for me.

Sorry you cannot drive.Anyway I hear exactly what you're saying about the whining.Far too much of that in this industry. They all find out that gets them nowhere but in the unemployment line.
