Bicycle mounted on back of tractor - company driver?

why ask them? they'd prob be elated that you aren't some obese driver that can't even climb in/out of their truck w/o a struggle.you set an excellent example of what that company represents by having that bike back there and actually riding it.besides,it would help keep their health costs down since you do take the time to take care of yourself.

affix the bike in a way that does no damage and carry on driver.beats the heck out of sitting in your truck during downtime-

I can just see a 300 lb man with a 200 lb belly riding a 20'' bicycle down the shoulder of the interstate. make sure you have your overweight/oversize permits.

 

If you have a mid-rise sleeper, with a condo fairing, you can easily lay it on the roof, yes you'll have to listen to a bit of rattle if not secured properly. I've also seen a few people figure out how to attach a bike rack to the front of the truck and carry one. Where there is a will there is a way. Actually, my boss has jokingly suggested I carry mine on the truck with me, I'm not gone anywhere near enough to try though.

Me, I just take a walk. I’d walk around the truck lot and if at a terminal, I’d walk around the yard. I didn’t see to many places I be able to ride a bike. But most always found a place to walk.
