A pair of 16' 6" wide loads (747 horizontal stabilizers) going to Everett, WA from Grand Prairie, TX. Stopped along side the road in Wyoming for a 30 minute break and snuck the quad out for a few pictures.

I have a smaller one now that I can fold up and put in my duffel bag :)

They're not all that wide - [IMG]

Yes I know my tarp is messed up, I broke a bungee and need to fix the corner.

Here is my move this week. It's a special 20' container for radioactive materials. Loaded it empty and taking it to VA to get loaded with a pump and taking it back. They scheduled me all week to do the 1,400 mile run and are paying accordingly. Only down side is all the hoops and red tape I have to go thru just to do the load.

I hear ya, and believe me I have been thinking about it a lot. But right now the best thing for me is to keep the Star since it is paid for, and get rid of some debt I have and then once I'm done with all that, I can look towards a new truck (or if this one takes a bomb before then)

Picked these up from Fort Worth, taking them on to Millersport OH. Darn hot load. Probably going to need to drive the night shift to make it on time.
