Ft. Pierce, FL at the J. Got my first drop off, two more down by Miami in the morning. Then haul ### up to SC to load going back to MN for Friday morning.

 

Holy crap that's a hell of a dead head

 

Florida is a dead zone for us, so it normally pays accordingly going in there, and reloading in SC or Ga. Wait to see what I do after Victoria,Tx!

After they (INS I guess) review everything, will get a letter to be "sworn in" at a Federal Courthouse somewhere, then it's done, at last! I will still be drinking my Boddingtons, and watching the original Top Gear on BBC America though, there's only so far a boy can go after all.......
Loading in Omaha Wednesday, heading to Victoria,Tx with one of my combines. Time for the new Star to pay its way, now 99% of INS stuff is outta the way.

My nice paying load to ND from Indy got the axe as I pulled into the shipper, but they said I could take it to their yard in MN (at the same per mile rate which) was on the route to ND. I think they'll take delivery in ND on Friday morning and they are worried about finding a truck to ND. I have a contact number and will try to get them to use my trailer as a storage platform for a reasonable extra fee.

I don't think anyone will take this load 500 miles into ND. There's no bounce out moolah.

This load took 4 hours to load due to a idiot forklift driver that didn't have a clue. He asked me 5 times what I wanted and I told him 5 times what I wanted. Still didn't happen. I had to find someone else to finish the job after the doofus went home.

That's 22 straps on my trailer. I'm going to call the agent tomorrow and let him know how many straps may be needed. I picked up 10 extras last week. Good thing
