I don't get the message anymore about my mpg avg. I'm in the 8.30's/8.40's consistently this month. My auto start kicks on a least once a night. I think the way you drive can offset running on cruise all the time. On the website says Roehl wants 7.70 company wide.

Oh and I also while waiting for my loaded relay trl here in Appleton to be ready, had to go on duty I take a drug test which is awesome ech. I can see to take my truck bobtail to a clinic but a passenger car I shouldn't have to log especially if I'm not paid to do so. Last time in marsh field for my random I just went. Never heard a word. This time they read this long paragraph basically stating if I don't follow the guidelines set then its considered a refusal which could end in termination. Seems that way recently with everything, do what we say without question or you can be terminated.

 

that's why you should run reefers, when it's hot and you're empty set the trailer for 70 and chill out in the trailer for bit

You can either see the future or have run this route a few times.
Says live load but I hope (like last time) they have it loaded already as it can take a while and there's usually a line waiting.

 

It's a crapshoot in Middletown on preload and usually it's not.

 

First service plaza I80 OH. So I get a HON relay from Muscatine to Gary. Get to Gary, drop the trailer, grab an mt, secure the relay with trlr locks and what not. Grab some supplies and oil, go back to the truck only to find the relay has been assigned to me. Really? LoL. Don't mind making the run as it's just one stop and the miles are great, but why the relay? Couldn't give me the whole run at the outset? So had to drop my mt, take the locks off and hook back up to it. By this time I've probably sweated off a few pounds as it was smoking hot in the dust bowl today. Thank God for the free shower at the plaza tonight.
