Anything else I can try? Unit won't turn on at all but I know it's fully charged because when it's plugged into the wall charger the light will start red and then go green. The owner is 100% sure it's a RM USB cable. Sounds like it might be fried.

Leave it unplugged for 12 hours. This will discharge the battery. Then charge on AC for 3 hours and try again.

    Thanks,

I will try again. If it fails again should I deim it a paper weight and make sure it sees the recycle bin? Does it need factory service/repair? Are there no other troubleshooting options like firmware flash/update? There is obviously something wrong with the unit. The reason why I was going to connect it to my laptop is to see if there is a way to update/flash the firmware in the GPS. Is this an option through the docking software?

    Thanks!

Firmware is done via a SD Card.
