You just have an address I doubt they would check the address.
Did you volunteer too many details?

I told them my id on my driver's license is a POBox in another state and that is allowed by Dept of Motor Vehicle. And that I can provide physical address in the same state. Ozark said that doesn't matter... Their customers require physical address on their driver's ID... I said never saw such thing... have been driving for over 5 yrs, show my id at customers and that has never been an issue... Ozark said, their words, "I can argue until I get blue in the face and will still lose...."
I answered, "this is not a matter of losing or wining.... I am not trying to win anything, just trying to clarify something I don't understand..." I am really po....

P on them.... maybe they had too many problems with their drivers... to have such a rule like that.... And I don't need a company like that.
-
And they don't know what a good driver they are losing... Too bad for them.

Just curious but if you have a physical address why not just have it changed on your license?

I have had PO Box on my driver's license since when I got it soooooo many yrs ago for privacy issues. I don't use social security or real physical address on my ID. Had been driving with a carrier for over 5 yrs, never had that kind of problem with anybody. I had been living in the truck for 5 yrs and use the POBox near company's terminal because when I take "hometime", I park truck at company terminal, get my vehicle and check in at a hotel nearby. Never had any problem. Ozark could just verify all their potential drivers' records, background, references and all instead of having such an idiotic rule like that.

It would not be this difficult if I had my own truck but that's not a choice right now.
I went to bed VERY hopeful about Ozark because it seemed they had everything that I want.
DARN!! There's always something that I definitely don't want... Like a slow 62 mph truck, or a truck too small inside with no room for my things, or all trucks are automatic
or it's forced NYC, or they don't hire in my place of residency, or they don't allow more than 48 hrs hometime.... and now this!.... It's very frustrating....

Like I said this is our customers rules. If ozark doesn't comply we could lose a large customer.
We have all 10 speeds with good size sleepers and no NYC or Canada. I'm happy here but it's gotta be something you want.
