I did that one night along with 3 other trucks. All of us were parked next to each other at a Plot. I didn't think we were in the way much at all. 4 in the morning the clerk decides to bang on all of our trucks and make us move. Good times.

Somewhere in Kentucky almost to Iliionis, Picked up two skidded coils from Logan alluminum. Screw that place in the summer sunshine and heat. I nearly died tarping that load. Downed 3 bottles of water in the time it took to tarp it. Delivers in Saint Paul Monday morning. Wont get into MN till Sunday am, Debating making the GF come pick me up at the drop yard. she hates driving into that area though. So most likey drive out of route and go home for the day.
Eventully i am going to have to get my beater car parked down that soon though. once my Dedicated deal comes back i have to park at the drop yard. -

Had some fun at the range today. Fired a bunch of different weapons. Monday going to look at some houses, hopefully one of them will be home this time. Don't launch until Wednesday, no more OTR. doing the regional intermodal thing, hopefully that works out. I have talked to a couple drivers, and they like it. The Chicago train yard thing isn't too bad as once you do it a few times, and learn the ins and outs get easier. Plus they are windows.

You may have seen the directions (as load comments) to where I presume you're delivering, saying that the exit ramp to Plato Blvd is closed if you come from the south on US 52. I was just through there this morning (Sat) and that ramp was quite open. Or you can take the Concord St. / MN 156 exit off of US 52 also. The load comment directions said to get on MN 156 way down off of I-494, which will get you there but it's completely unnecessary to drive that far on MN 156 / Concord St -- you can take US 52 north from 494 and exit to MN 156 / Concord St from US 52 north (it's the exit just before the one for Plato Blvd.) -
lol that is where iam going.
Looks like iam adding a bunch of miles to this route anyhoo. My GF said no way in hell iam picking you up at the drop yard. I pointed out she didnt need to drive me back due to iam going to leave the beater car their anyhow. She still said no on picking me up lol. -
