I just got fired from my company for a speeding ticket of 17 mph over. No other tickets or incidents/accidents and did a great job for them for the year I was employed there.
My question is a simple one. What companies will hire me with this one ticket on my record?
companies that will hire you if you have a speeding ticket of <15 mph over

Might have to wait a year, because with a ticket that high with the new CSA scoring, you now have 30 points on your CSA at least...(10 points for severe moving violation x 3 for new violation). After 1 year, you will lose 10 points, 2 years another 10, after 3 it will be gone. But your score is high enough to where most companies will not want to hire you....Not saying all, but some. Put in some apps, all they can say is no.

Did you get a roadside inspection as well?
Try Carolina Cargo, Pascshal.
That is going to be a tough one to overcome. Isn't it considered wreck less driving at a certain mph over?Chinatown Thanks this. -

Thanks to all who have responded so far. I'll give you a little more info. There was a level 1 done at that time, I did not get a lawyer and try to fight it. I was driving west/south on us-54 in New Mexico just past Carrizozo. I was going in and out of the construction zones, there were no workers present. I had just passed a 55 mph sign when I saw the trooper on the other side taking radar. I was travelling at 62 mph when I saw him and hit the brakes, the speed limit heading into that stretch is 65, but since I am governed at 62, that's what I was doing. When he pulled me over he said I was doing 62 in a 45. I told him that the sign I had just passed was for 55, he then informed me that there were no 55 mph zones on that stretch, period. He was wrong, because the next day on that same stretch when I was coming back through, I actually stopped and took a picture of that 55 mph sign. I feel pretty stupid now for not fighting it, I have already payed the fine and signed the ticket and sent it back in.I'm trying not to beat myself up too bad over that fact, and am just trying to find another job.

You CAN NOT SPEED ON US54!!!!! lol that is where I got mine. They will let cars pass just to come after you. (I was passed by 2 cars going at least 65 right before I got nailed)
