I remember when they first brought this out, there was articles about speeding going on it and then it was changed.

No. Points are only given with an inspection.

Even though this refers to driving a personal vehicle, read the response.

Q: Will violations, citations, or warnings issued against a driver while driving his/her personal vehicle be placed into the driver's data in CSA?
A: No. The only data that will be placed into the CSA database related to drivers will be violations noted on a roadside inspection report (this is only completed when a commercial vehicle and/or the driver of a commercial vehicle is inspected) and crashes that the driver is involved in while operating a commercial vehicle.

That's his best and only chance. If one of these companies hires you, be prepared for some serious miles running back to back , west coast/east coast & you'll have to stick with the one that hires you until that ticket drops off. Apply with all of them; they have online apps.

    Paschall Truck Lines
    Carolina Cargo
    Buel Inc.
    Martin Enterprises of the Carolinas

Should have sent a copy of the 55 speed limit sign with the ticket lol.

Some troopers are like that sedly but true. I had one in NC pulled me over and gave me a ticket for doing 68 in 55. I went to court and he did not show. They wanted to wait till the Officer was there did not throw it out. So instead of wasting another day, I went and asked them to change it to the speed I was doing and I pay the stupid fine, and they did, 55/55 $105.00

now i wish you didn't sign the sign the ticket and mail it back to them that means you plead guilty now if you fought the ticket that would be another reason to get hired somewhere else quick because you fight it and im sure they could drop it to vehicle violation and go from there, the thing is that they just care about the money not about what is going to be on your record my last trainer got caught with a hazmat load right in a tunnel he fought and they drop it to truck tire failure.

Slow down! I know it's spilt milk but even in your personal vehicle you have to be responsible ,we are judged IN AND OUT of our trucks. It sucks but it's a fact. With or without an inspection, company's look at your MVR not just csa. I don't agree with it,but just the way it is. Ugh
I'm a slow poke now ,amazing how much $ you can save just slowing down.

Not allowed to do that with a CDL since 2005.

    http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rules-regulations/administration/fmcsr/fmcsrruletext.aspx?reg=384.226

Prohibition on masking convictions. The State must not mask, defer imposition of judgment, or allow an individual to enter into a diversion program that would prevent a CLP or CDL holder's conviction for any violation, in any type of motor vehicle, of a State or local traffic control law (other than parking, vehicle weight, or vehicle defect violations) from appearing on the CDLIS driver record, whether the driver was convicted for an offense committed in the State where the driver is licensed or another State.

True, but most coos will give you a level 1 when you get pulled over. So I just automatically think a speeding ticket will go in csa
