I'll buy the straights off of ya. or are you putting a muffler underneath?

but if you put a better one on your exhaust temps would drop and probably get a bit more boost. that muffler is restrictive. that said though I have never heard that one from pittsburg power.

At the grain elevator i worked at they had a couple of V8 detroits and a V12 with straights. Man those things were a hoot to drive around to the farms when i was fresh outta high school, thinking back on it i don't know how those guys drove that old iron around all day long. Between no power steering, a buckboard ride, and all that noise, those were some serious truckers back then and they would jack yer jaw at the drop of a hat if ya pissed them off. Maybe thats what made'em so mean.

Mine doesn't have a working pyro so I don't know. Which is more likely to go out, the wiring or the thermo couple?

Wiring is NOT OEM thats been replaced, but I can't tell about the thermo couple.

beats me... mine don't work either!! I drove my truck home with just water temp and oil psi....

check the connection on back of the gauge. if okay then replace the thermo couple. the are sensitive to wires being pinched so be gental

Our first truck was a 1971 White Road Boss, had air power steering that worked about 20% of the time, sure appreciate what we have now, got the T600 home from the paint shop last night, unfortunately got a little road spray on it and have to wash it off this morning, will take some pictures later on and start a new post.

ouch. truck that is supposed to have power steering and it doesn't work is much worse than a truck with manual steering. the reduction ratio is different. thats why a manual steering truck you have to turn that bus sized steering wheel about 5 thousand times to turn the wheel all the way

    MACK E-6 Thanks this.

Don't they have a sign up as you enter the state about no modified exhaust systems?
