Ya but it still doesn't give you verbal warning if you go over it

Does anyone know how to check a route from a location other than where you are at, for instance, I am at Point A, but I want to seethe route between Points B and C. I can't figure it out and I scanned the site looking for it before I posted. Thanks!

go to point B on the map zoom in enough so you can tap on the spot like a intersection, on the bottom of the screen see "set origin" tap it then put in point C it will not route that trip

I will bring this up. It was mentioned, but overruled on my part.

    Thanks,

You are A, but want to see the route from B to C.

Look up the location for B, then on the "begin route" screen, at the bottom tap on "set origin".

You will see the map screen and towards the bottom right you will now see "return to GPS location". (do not tap on this at this point in time).

Now find the location for C.

Route to it like you normally would.

On the map screen you will now be routed from B to C, even though you are at A.

If you slide out the Turn by Turn you will see all the roads/freeways/map summary for B to C.

Once you are done, Click on "return to GPS location" on the map screen.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Sorry it took so long to get back to this, I just got back to my computer (didn't want to attempt on my cell phone)...

    TND files: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9tqHiLvkL3SV3dqUXVoOTdUeFE/edit?usp=sharing

    Model: TND 520
    Version: 3.55.2780.1540

Recent routing bug: I'm heading eastbound on I10 just past Junction, TX. Selected POI along my route (Love's TS in Comfort, TX) and added as via. Despite old route staying on I10 through comfort, the new route headed NE at Kerrville and turned back south at Fredericksburg -- adding a wholly unnecessary 35 mile detour to a simple I10 on/off truck stop.

I see that also.. Will submit to the GIS dept. Looks like a false restriction is in place at the Love's.

    Thanks,

Hi posting after trying to contact Mark Kling thru the email here the other day but haven't heard anything back yet...

I need help please...I bought a TND 710 of EBAY the other day that came in with an error code...I saw a few pages back that Mark offered to send out
an SD card with the complete update download for this unit that could possibly fix my issue. Is it still possible to get one of these sent to me?

error message = Application Serviced. exe encountered a serious error and must shut down :biggrin_25526:

    Thank you!

Did you check your spam folder? If it was you that had the dealer sending you another one I replied to your E-Mail.

    Thanks,
    Mark
