I had a small incident, absolutely zero damage to the truck and about $10 to a toll gate. No police report, no one at the "scene" was contacted. BUT since it was at an Illinois toll gate with cameras I thought I'd do the right thing and report it to Millis. Millis told me "just be more careful we'll just put this as a verbal warning" about a month later safety was asked if Illinois ever contacted him and he said no. When I got my "bonus" I was charged $175 for being honest. (hey would've never known if I hadn't reported it) I inquired as to why I was being charged money and I was told "just in case they decide to charge us something 3 years down the road" needless to say I was PISSED. Fast forward to now. I apply at Lone Star Transportation fill out the application, get a call the recruiting department says everything looks good as soon as millis contacts us back you'll be good to go. Millis took their sweet a s s time and finally I get a call that I wasn't accepted because millis said I had a preventable accident, that I didn't disclose on my application . So once again another lie from Millis... So much for a verbal warning.

As far as I know its not even on my dac report. Unless it takes a while to show up. A month or so after it happened I ordered a copy of my dac report and there was nothing on it.
As far as the QC message, there was one but it was in my old truck and i deleted all the messages when I got the new truck. -

I have an idea. Maybe if you worked with your drivers when they have issues or maybe treated them like people instead of an annoyance and had some sort of communication system, then maybe all these drivers wouldnt be trying to get jobs with other companies. Lets take me for example. I am moving right now. I asked about staying on after i move and basically was blown off and given a couple of vague answers. Until this point i enjoyed my time at millis. I had no plans on leaving. But since i am almost done moving now and still have no clue what millis plans on doing with me i have applied to a couple other jobs in the area i am moving to. I mean what am i supposed to do? Wait until i have moved over 3 hours away from Trenton and then find out that i cant drive Regional anymore? I am sorry but i am not going back OTR. And i am not driving 4 hours one way to get to and from work. I was told that we dont have any freight that runs up by akron. which is bull. we go to cleveland all the time which is 20 minutes from akron. So since this is my life and livelyhood here i took it on my own to find a new place to work. To tell you the truth I almost decided to quit driving because of this experience with Millis.
Boomer 1 Thanks this. -
I hate to say it but I think they are on a downward spiral
