Here is something I found on the net.....

    http://www.rvcomfort.com/rvp/products/special/backwall.php

Have yet to find there product literature on this product yet.....

Also as I mentioned previously KR was talking about these Rear Wall mounted A/C's on last weeks show, they are looking at one for there signature truck. So it might be worth calling and asking what system they are looking at as well.

Relatively speaking, no. Carbon monoxide content in diesel exhaust is about 5% of that in gasoline exhaust.

It doesn't matter what type of genset you are using, they all will produce carbon monoxide. When you burn any type of fossil fuel it produces carbon monoxide. Gasoline, diesel, propane, natural gas, hell even smoking a cigarette produces carbon monoxide.

Not all gas gensets are loud, some of the Honda's produce less decibels than normal conversation, that, and several other reasons are why several guys on here are using them.

Yes, the diesel genset is better for the emissions AND, since I have it mounted under the trailer about 50' from the cab, there is no real danger from them unless some idiot nose-diver gets in next to it... in which case, he's too stupid to be a trucker anyway... as for the noise... can't hear it when STANDING next to the cab, much less in it... also, I'm not a huge fan of having a can full of gasoline on my truck!

I have a question if you idle less than 3hrs a day, would you buy an apu? The reason I ask I don't idle my truck that much.

If you would only use it that short of time, you would be better off using a battery bank and inverter.
